There once lived a squirrel by the name of Sammy in a village called Crumbleton. Baking the biggest chocolate chip cookie in the world was Sammy’s one and only goal. However, there was one small issue: he was an awful chef!
Sammy determined that today was the right day one bright day. In a large bowl, he combined flour, sugar, and chocolate chips. However, he put five cups of flour instead of only one! He inserted twelve eggs in place of only one! Although his kitchen appeared to be a flour explosion, Sammy was unconcerned.
He added a pail of baking soda as the last ingredient, exclaiming, “I’ll be famous!” I apologize! It was a bubble bath, not baking soda! Sammy, however, pushed the cookie into the oven without realizing.

The peasants sampled the cookie crumbs that were raining down from the sky with caution. They were shocked to find that it was the tastiest cookie ever!
From that point on, Crumbleton had an annual event known as “Cookie Day,” at which Sammy the squirrel was elected Cookie King. He could no longer go near ovens, though.
