Ruffy was a smart bunny that lived in a beautiful woodland once. He had a reputation for being nice and quick-witted. Fred, the avaricious fox, planned one day to con Ruffy into preparing his food.
Fred came up to Ruffy and said, “Hey Ruffy, see what I found in the jungle! A buried treasure! I need your aid since it’s too much for me to bear alone. “Let’s divide it!”
Curious about Fred’s motivations, Ruffy enquired, “Where is this treasure?”
Fred smiled and said, “Join me. It is within a cave, but you must pass through first. You are smaller, and the cave is much narrower.”
Ruffy glanced at his watch and realized it was a trap. “Yes, Fred,” he said. However, I have to get ready a special before we leave.
Fred understood his strategy had failed and felt confused and humiliated. He stopped attempting to trick others after that day and started to appreciate honesty.
Ruffy, on the other hand, continued to be the cunning woodland hero and relished his days spent assisting others.
Moral: Honesty and intelligence are always superior than greed and deceit, since they lead to disaster.
